‘REVERENCE WORSHIP’ was created by brothers Preston and Spencer Dalton, who were born in Waco, Texas. In 1997 they began honing their musical gifts and leading worship after seeing the British worship band ‘Delirious?’ perform during their U.S. tour.
“At ten years old I left that auditorium filled with a vision. I saw how worship begins in the secret place, not in the writing room. I saw what it looked like to take on a kind of priestly purpose and become a key that unlocks the door into God’s holy presence while inviting a generation to step in with you.” - Spencer Dalton
They signed their first record deal before the age of 18 and had toured multiple continents by the age of 21. They relocated to Franklin, Tennessee, where they continued developing their career in writing, producing, and performing. They also joined the worship band 'Sonicflood' as members and executive producers and remained with them a number of years before opening their very own studio outside of Nashville, TN called “Sanctuary Hills”.
Through a supernatural encounter with the presence of God in 2023, it was made clear that God was calling them back to their roots of worship and so they formed ‘REVERENCE WORSHIP’. It would soon come to be that some of the very members of the British worship band ‘Delirious?’—who had so impacted their lives during childhood—would join them in the process of recording and launching their debut EP entitled ‘PORTALS / Part I’.
Their debut single, “Bring Heaven Down”, is a stadium-sized rock worship anthem calling the body of Christ to join with all of Heaven in glorifying the name of Jesus. The brothers believe there’s no greater way to light the fuse of ‘REVERENCE WORSHIP’ than to sing this Chorus with the saints on earth and all the angels in Heaven:
“All God’s children, lift your voices, let your praise ring out. Hosts of Heaven, join the chorus, Lord, Bring Heaven Down!”
